Firefly in Studio City is one of my favorite restaurants/lounges. Comfortable and cozy atmosphere with a cute outdoor patio and two bars - one inside, one out. If you haven't had a chance to visit this place you are truly missing out on the finer things in life, like fried olives. I am not sure how I stumbled upon these little fried balls of joy but words cannot describe how amazing they are. Firefly serves them with a perfectly creamy Aioli dipping sauce for $8. A great appetizer or snack to munch on with a glass of white wine (or 2, or 3). The menu is also filled with other great things like Tempura Style Crunchy String Beans, Grilled Salmon, Bistro Steak, & Cast Iron Skillet Mussels.

{Chef's gift: Firefly gives a small plate of the Chef's daily special creation (which is not offered on the menu) to all dining guests. On this visit we got pineapple with mozzarella. Two thumbs up!}
